Support The Showband

How Can I Help?

Did you know that kids who participate in activities such as the Stampede Showband have higher grade-averages in school than kids that don't. Those same kids have fewer problems with drugs and alcohol and go on to college and successful careers. Alumni can attest to this fact with few exceptions. Participating in the Stampede Showband or any other performing arts program builds character in kids and changes their lives in meaningful ways.

More than ever we need your investment as a supporter of youth today. No contribution is too small. For information on how you can help the Stampede Showband play a role in the success of the youth of today please contact Sandra Lundar at 403.261.9345 or Jeri-lyn Zbyntnuik at 403.261.9130.

Every year, the Stampede Showband provides hundreds of young people between the ages of 16 and 21 with music and performing arts skills. The experiences are as varied as participating in International festivals and competitions, performing with other high school music students from the Calgary and surrounding area, choreography and equipment-spinning through the Winter Guard program, and marching at the head of the Calgary Stampede Parade.

A donation to the Stampede Showband provides support that enables young people to benefit from these programs. Your gift, combined with revenue earned from participants’ fees, performance honoraria, and the proceeds of Alberta Gaming assure a high-quality, youth-development program.

In appreciation for your donation, we are pleased to provide benefits that bring you closer to the Stampede Showband family – with discounts on tickets and merchandise as well as insider news about the Stampede Showband organization.
